SHAWNEE COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating the theft of box truck from a church thrift store in Topeka.

Between  1 a.m. and 3 a.m. Friday, an unknown person stole a is a 2000 GMC C6500 (24 foot) box truck from God’s Storehouse at 2111 SW Chelsea Drive in Topeka, according to Lt. Jerry Monasmith.

The truck contained laundry baskets full of miscellaneous merchandise. 

The truck is white with orange front fenders and Kansas Tag 779JXY.
